I have spent 7 years studying, and obtaining two degrees, in order to practice as a qualified Naturopath and Nutritionist. These Bachelor degrees have allowed me to fully understand nutritional biochemistry and food sciences as well as anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology. My studies, coupled with my experience working as a Naturopath & Nutritionist has allowed me to understand how the body functions, along with what the body needs to function to its highest capabilities.

Part of my role is to stay up to date with the most current research in all things Natural Health. This not only eliminates some common misconceptions that people may have regarding their own health but also to identify if new fad/crash diets and quick fixes are indeed a credible method to regain ones optimal health.

These days many people are in a state of disease*, that can be managed or sometimes reversed with simple solutions that just require education, a good attitude and a little bit of hard work.

*Dis-ease: a disorder of structure or function in a human, animal, or plant, especially one that produces specific symptoms or that affects a specific location and is not simply a direct result of physical injury.

Our bodies are much more complex than we give them credit for. It is capable of amazing self-healing if we just feed it the appropriate nutrients. Food is not just fuel for energy; it also nourishes and helps our body flourish, instead of just maintaining current health status. Naturopaths looks for the underlying problem instead of symptomatic treatment.

'Symptoms' (energy depletion and fatigue, digestive complaints, stress, pain, skin disorders, weight gain) are the body's way of telling us that something is not functioning correctly.

I approach every patient with care, understanding, compassion and thoughtfulness so that together we can understand and support any issues.

Meet Phebe

Naturopath & Nutritionist

My name is Phebe Stehbens, and my passion is helping people to become the healthiest and happiest versions of themselves. My personal journey towards natural health science began many years ago. As a child I had on-going skin issues (eczema and psoriasis), and although my family explored traditional medical remedies, none helped in the long term.

Finally I visited a consultant who practised outside of common western medicine and finally started to see the results in which I was seeking. Since that day I was firmly entrenched in all things Natural Medicine.

Most people don’t truly understand just how good they can feel!

That’s, of course, where I step in.
